this is my Day of the Dead My Little Pony done by Andy at Camberely Tattoo Studio.

it took an hour yes it hurt alot! but was fun and Andy was excited that he was getting to tattoo something other than the norm for once and he got to play around with all the colours.

the story behind it is that when i was about 5/6 i had a My Little Pony sleeping bag and it was my favourite thing ever and i used to lay on the sofa after my bedtime and pretend to be asleep and my Dad knew i was pretending and would push me down inside the sleeping bag, pick it up and throw me over his shoulder in it and carry me to bed and we would laugh so much.

the whole Day of the Dead theme is because last year my Dad had a heart attack and it survived it and then in November his Mum (my Nan) lost her long battle with cancer and in 2000 his Dad died in his sleep at 62 (i think or around that age) so the theme was so that it symbolized remembering those closest to us who have died and also celebrating the lives of those i am so grateful to have.
